The Carer Centre Clubhouse full range of clubs, courses, groups and events which are free to Carers who are registered with us.
The Carer Clubhouse is situated at Fishwick House, Cotham Street, WA10 1SJ and can be found opposite from St Helens Town Hall.

Many of our events need a pre booking, if this is the case you can book on by pressing the button below each event and we will confirm your place within a few days. Sometimes we have last minute cancellations, so you can always telephone us on the day to see if there is a place available.

Crafty Carers Monday 21st July 2025: 1.30pm - 3.30pm
If you are a crafty person or want to get started.... whether its knitting, decoupage, card making or something else this friendly Carers Group is for you They meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.. Have a cuppa and a chat but more importantly fun. We have materials too or you can bring your own. No experience needed and no need to book.

Carers Tea & Toast - Tuesday 22nd July 2025: between 10am and 12noon
Our weekly Tea n Toast sessions are for Carers to drop in with other Carers have a natter and offload. These friendly sessions allow you to make contacts with other Carers and relax for an hour or two and have a cuppa and toast and a laugh. No need to book, just drop in anytime between 10am and 12 noon..

Carer Quiz Night - Tuesday 22nd July 2025 - Doors Open 6.30, Quiz 7pm-9pm
Come along to our monthly Carers Quiz Evening, its fun and free and we even serve free hot dogs and a chance to win prizes. Dont worry, we will team you up with other Carers... its all about the fun and the mixing together. You MUST book in advance to attend.

Learn Reiki - Wednesday 23rd July 2025: 10am – 12 Noon
Come along to this Group session and experience what Reiki is, the meaning of how it works and its benefits. Our qualified Tutor Jan will demonstrate how it can balance areas in the body while increasing energy levels. Reiki can also be used as a complimentary therapy. You Must Book In Advance

Universal Credit Clinic Drop In - Friday 25th July - 9.45am-1pm Held At Main Carers Centre (31-35 Baldwin Street)
Do you need support or advice around Universal Credit? If you are a Carer and need help with Universal Credit including digital support, just drop in between 10am – 1pm on any Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) to our Carer Clubhouse. No need to book an appointment-just turn up. We can help with Advice and UC calculations, check your awards, payments and to do list, change in circumstances, digital support and new claims. This clinic is now held at the Main Carer Centre at 31-35 Baldwin Street.

Carers Guitar Group - Friday 25th July - 2pm-3.30pm
Whether you are a fully fledged player or an absolute beginner, guitar, ukulele, banjo or whatever. This group is for you. Its a relaxed Friday mid afternoon group, with a cuppa, and sounds! All carers welcome to this friendly group which meets weekly.

Monochrome Painting- Tuesday 29th July 2025: 1pm – 3pm
Delivered by one of our talents Carers Doris will guide you step by step through this session and you will be surprised under guidance what you can achieve. No experience required at this relaxing session. You must book in advance

Tai Chi Taster Session - Wednesday –30th July 2025: 1pm – 3pm
An introduction to Tai-Chi with a practical demonstration from our Qualified Tutor, Heather. This can be done either sitting or standing and will end with a warm down. Casual clothing should be worn for this session. You Must Book In Advance

Parent Carer (SEND) Coffee & Cakes Morning - Thursday 31st July - 10am-12noon
These sessions take place on the last Thursday of the month from 10am-12noon. Come along and find out more about services that can support you and your family. The sessions are informal and a great opportunity for you to meet other Parent Carers.
