This short interactive fun workshop would show you what to do in various emergency situations. This is a course that shouldn’t be missed as you could save someone’s life. The training is delivered by a qualified member of The Red Cross and loose comfortable clothing is recommended for this session.

Pilates uses a combination of simple, repetitive exercises to create muscular exertion. Advocates of this system of exercise claim that exercises can be adapted to provide either gentle strength training for rehabilitation or a strenuous workout vigorous enough to challenge skilled athletes. This will be delivered by a qualified trainer and we suggest loose comfy clothing

This course runs for 5 weeks, and you will be shown how to improve your skills to access the web and online safety. Learn how to use a tablet/iPad and access the web and navigate safely to search for useful information, complete online forms, and communicate and keep in touch with Family and Friends. This course is run by Adult & Community Learning and all iPads are supplied by them for the course.

If your caring role has come to end, this friendly group meets the 2nd Wednesdsay of the month.  Its a relaxed supportive group and our Carer Welfare Officer is hand too.  No Need to book in advance, just turn up.

This 4-week course aims to support Carers of those with severe long term mental health conditions to understand and develop relationships to support their caring role. It focuses on increasing the understanding and developing of positive support strategies as well as recognising their needs and supporting their own wellbeing as Carers

An introduction to Tai-Chi with a practical demonstration from our qualified Tutor, Heather. This can be done either sitting down or standing ending with a warm down. This helps with general wellbeing, and you can take part with other Carers.

You can come along alone and be teamed up with other Carers or as a team, but you must book on in advance.  Prizes for the winning team!  Doors open 6.30pm, quiz starts 7pm!    Bring your own wine or soft drinks available.   These nights run on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
