Sessional Youth Workers - Young Carer Service

Rate of Pay including holiday allowance = £ 14.60 per hour.

We are looking to recruit several enthusiastic, caring and reliable Sessional Activity Youth Workers to join our bank staff team at the Young Carers Centre.

This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people during structured group activities, community-based sessions, workshops and occasional trips or residential experiences. Young carers access our services to take a break from their caring responsibilities, spend time with peers, build confidence, have fun and receive support in a safe and welcoming environment.

As a Sessional Activity Youth Worker, you will work alongside our Activities Coordinator and wider team to help deliver engaging activities while providing emotional support and encouragement to young carers who may be experiencing stress, anxiety or challenges linked to their caring role.

This is a flexible sessional position, ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and can offer availability on selected evenings or during school holiday activities.

The hours can be as little as 3 per week and more depending upon your availability but we guarantee an absolute minimum of 50 hours per year, this can be many more if you are available for the sessions we run.
