St Helens Young and Adult Carers continues to offer support to many thousands of local Carers and we are now recruiting for the following positions:  

Wellbeing Officer - Adult Carers

37 Hours per week office hours

£28,462 - £29,478 with pay award pending

This is not a paid carer role - This is a role to support family/unpaid Carers by providing information, advice, emotional support and undertaking statutory Carers Assessments.

The successful candidate we are looking for will be a highly motivated individual, with experience of working directly with the public. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrating a strong ability to working sensitively with adults over the age of 18 years of age within a rapidly changing environment.  Being proactive and tenacious in your approach, displaying a ‘can do’ attitude at all times when supporting Carers with the ability to think ‘outside of the box’ looking at all solutions/services that will ultimately make a difference to the Carers life.
